Agricultural Scholarships

Four of these six have no single deadline

Agriculture students apply through the big national schemes rather than through farming societies. That changes how deadlines work: your date depends on your country, your embassy or your chosen programme, not on one global closing date.

Commonwealth Master’s closes on 20 October 2026, at 16:00 BST

Two things to know before you rush. The CSC accepts no direct applications, so you must also apply through a nominating agency, and the agency’s own closing date usually falls earlier than the CSC’s. If you have not started with your nominator, treat this round as closed and aim at the next one.

The six schemes, and what sets your deadline

Each row links to the guide that covers that scheme in full. Where a scheme has no single date, this page says what decides yours instead of printing a figure that would be wrong for most readers.

Cross-field

Why four rows say “varies”. DAAD runs hundreds of separate courses, MEXT runs an embassy track and a university track with different calendars, CSC China is decided by each university and embassy, and Erasmus Mundus has a different date for every joint programme. One date on this page would be wrong for most readers, so each guide carries the dates that apply to your route. Always confirm on the funder’s own page before you apply.
