About ScholarWing

We publish scholarship guidance for international students, and we give away the document tools that agents charge for. This page explains who runs it, why it costs nothing, and what we refuse to do.

Why this site exists

Fully funded scholarships are real, and thousands of students from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and across Asia and Africa win them every year. Very few of those students pay an agent to get there. Yet an entire industry has grown around persuading applicants that they cannot do it alone, charging them for a Statement of Purpose template and a list of deadlines that any careful reader can find for free.

ScholarWing started in 2026 as a response to that. The information students need is public. What they lack is a clear explanation of how each programme actually works, honest writing about what a scholarship does and does not cover, and practical help producing the documents. Those three things do not need to cost money.

Who runs it

ScholarWing is run by ScholarWing Team, which Pakistani graduates who applied to fifteen scholarships before winning one. Every guide on this site is researched and written here rather than syndicated or spun from other blogs, and the tools were built specifically for this site rather than licensed from elsewhere.

You can write to us directly at contact@scholarwing.com. We read every message and answer as many as we can.

How we research a guide

Every scholarship guide begins at the official source: the programme’s own pages, the university’s admissions section, and the relevant government or migration authority. We state figures as those sources state them, with the year, and we say plainly when a provider does not publish something rather than filling the gap with an estimate borrowed from a forum.

That discipline produces guides that sometimes disagree with the rest of the internet. Several scholarships widely described as “fully funded” are not, and we say so. Where a scholarship covers tuition but leaves a student to prove tens of thousands in living costs, that is the first thing our guide explains, because it is the fact most likely to change whether someone can actually go.

The principle behind everything here

A student who applies to the wrong scholarship with false confidence has lost a year. We would rather publish the sentence that makes someone decide not to apply than collect the traffic from a cheerful guide that wastes their time.

Direct answers

We answer student questions daily across our community and by email — the ordinary, specific questions that no guide covers.

About the AI tools

Our generators produce a first draft from the details you enter. They are genuinely useful for structure, and genuinely dangerous if used carelessly, so we say this on every tool page and repeat it here: AI writing sometimes adds a detail nobody supplied, and admissions committees screen for AI text. Check every figure against your own records and rewrite a good share of any draft in your own words before you submit it.

We could have hidden that warning to make the tools look better. We put it directly above the download button instead.

What we will never do

  • Charge a student for a scholarship application, or for any tool on this site.
  • Ask for bank details, card numbers or passwords. No genuine scholarship provider does either.
  • Promise admission, funding or a visa. Nobody can, and anyone who does is selling something.
  • Produce a document that impersonates a university, including an acceptance or offer letter. We build the letters students write, not the ones institutions issue.
  • Publish a figure we have not checked against the official source.

How the site is funded

Advertising supports the hosting and the AI costs behind the tools. Advertisements are served by third-party networks and appear separately from our writing; no advertiser sees our guides before publication or influences what we say about a scholarship. Our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy set out the details.

Found a mistake?

Deadlines move and award amounts change. If you find something out of date or wrong, tell us and we will check it against the official source and correct it. Accuracy matters more to us than being first, and corrections from students have improved several guides already.
